Criminal Law (Insanity) Act 2006 (Commencement) Order 2006

I, Michael McDowell, Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 26 of the Criminal Law (Insanity) Act 2006 (No. 11 of 2006), hereby order as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the Criminal Law (Insanity) Act 2006 (Commencement) Order 2006. 2. The 1st day of June 2006 is appointed as the day on which the Criminal Law (Insanity) Act 2006 (No. 11 of 2006) (other than section 13(1) comes into operation.
