Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

I, CHARLIE MCCONALOGUE, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (3)(a) of section 29 of the Civil Law and Criminal Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2020 (No. 13 of 2020), and being of the opinion that it is appropriate to do so having regard to the matters specified in paragraphs (a) to (d) of subsection (4) of that section as they relate to the State body to which the following order applies, hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Civil Law and Criminal Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2020 (Section 29) (Veterinary Council of Ireland) (Designation) Order 2021.

2. The Veterinary Council of Ireland is designated for the purposes of section 29 of the Civil Law and Criminal Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2020 (No. 13 of 2020).

This Order designates the Veterinary Council of Ireland for the purposes of holding remote meetings in accordance with Section 29 of the Civil Law and Criminal Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2020 (No. 13 of 2020).
