Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

I, STEPHEN DONNELLY, Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 110 (7) (inserted by section 13 of the Emergency Measures in the Public Interest (Covid-19) Act 2020 (No. 2 of 2020)) of the Medical Practitioners Act 2007 (No. 25 of 2007) (as adapted by the Health and Children (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2011 ( S.I. No. 219 of 2011 )), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Medical Practitioners Act 2007 (Special measures registration having regard to Covid-19) Order 2021.

2. The 31st of December 2021 is specified as the different date for the purposes of section 110(6) of the Medical Practitioners Act 2007 .

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This order specifies 31 December 2021 as the date on which a Section 110 registration still in force shall cease to have effect.
