ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
The Editorial Board of the 17th Edition would like to extend our sincere gratitude to
Dr Maria Cahill for her continued support of COLR throughout the year. The support
and advice of Dr Cahill has once again been invaluable to the production of the law
review. We would also like to thank the members of the Faculty of the School of Law,
in both their assistance in reviewing submissions and the support they give to COLR
every year.
On behalf of the Editorial Board, I would like to extend our gratitude to the Hon. Mr
Justice William McKechnie for doing us the great honour of launching the law review
this year.
The Editorial Board would also like to thank Professor Ursula Kilkelly for her
continued support of COLR. We would also like to thank the Executive Board of the
UCC Law Society, who have been a source of advice and assistance over the past
year.
We would also like to express gratitude to our sponsors, Arthur Cox. Without the
sponsorship and continued support of Arthur Cox, the production of COLR would
not be possible. In particular, I would like to thank Ruth Pollard for her assistance
and help.
Finally, we would like to thank the authors of the high-quality contributions to the
17th Edition of COLR. The interesting and varied contributions are a fine addition to
the academic scholarship of COLR exploring areas such as domestic environmental
law, international criminal law and the use of referenda in modern democracy. We
would also like to thank those who contributed, and continue to contribute, to our
Letters to the Editor platform.
Is mise le meas,
Shay Buckley
