ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
The Editorial Board of the Cork Online Law Review would like to extend their
sincere gratitude to Dr Maria Cahill and Dr Seán Ó'Conaill for their continued
support and guidance to the law review over the past year. Their contribution
remains invaluable to the law review's continued success. We would also like to
thank the Academic Staff, School of Law, UCC, for the hours they have dedicated
once more to help us review submissions. We would like to thank Brian O’Reilly,
PhD Candidate in UCC for his help with our foreign language submissions. A
special thanks also to Dr Fiona Donson for contributing her considerable
expertise in the form of a guest letter.
The Editor-in-Chief, in particular, would like to thank the Director of Public
Prosecutions Ms Claire Loftus, for doing us the great honour of launching our
review and for writing the foreword to this year's edition.
The Editorial Board would like to thank the Dean of the School of Law in UCC,
Professor Ursula Kilkelly, for her continued help and support. We would also like
to thank the Executive Committee of the UCC Law Society, who have been a
constant source of support and advice over the past year.
Last but not least, the Editorial Board wishes to extend our most sincere gratitude
to the law firm Arthur Cox for their continued generous sponsorship of our law
review, without which this edition would not be possible. We wish to thank Ms
Jane Babb in particular for all her help and support.
Is mise le meas,
Kate Murphy.
