I, BARRY ANDREWS, Minister of State at the Department of Health and Children, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 6 of the Adoption Act 2010 (No. 21 of 2010) and the Health and Children (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order 2010 ( S.I. No. 508 of 2010 ), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Adoption Act 2010 (Establishment Day) Order 2010.

2. The 1st day of November 2010 is appointed as the establishment day for the purposes of the Adoption Act 2010 (No. 21 of 2010).

The effect of this Order is to provide that the Adoption Act 2010 establishment day shall be the 1st day of November 2010.
