Application for Second Teacher in a Two Teacher School Allowance in accordance with

Circular 0017/2022

This form should be used to inform the Department of Education of new application for the payment

of the Second Teacher Allowance in a Two-Teacher School. This application should not be made

unless the applicant fulfils the criteria set out in Circular 0017/2022 under Appendix 4. Post-

holders must undertake Roles and Responsibilities assigned or re-assigned to them.

- the teacher is the second teacher in a school with two teachers only (and no other authorised posts)

- the teacher above is undertaking the roles and responsibilities assigned to them in accordance with

Circular 0017/2022 and have signed the Statement of Roles and Responsibilities assigned to them.

- I authorise the Department of Education to pay the appropriate allowance for the level of Deputy

Principal

- I will undertake to advise the Department immediately of any changes to the allocation of authorised

posts where it arises
