Substantial additions to premises since 1919 - Whether house "erected"since 1919 - Increase of Rent and Mortgage Interest (Restrictions) Act, 1923, ss. 2 (1) (a) and 3 (5).

A dwelling-house when first let prior to 1914 consisted of four rooms, and the landlord on acquiring the premises in 1937 carried out a considerable amount of improvements, adding five more rooms, including a kitchen and a bathroom, consisting partly of existing walls and partly of new concrete walls together with a corrugated iron roof.
