When is Black Friday?

Black Friday 2021 takes place on Friday, November 26th, the day after Thanksgiving is celebrated in the US.

Many Black Friday sales do kick off earlier though, with a number of shops announcing deals both online and in-store before the day itself.

Cyber Monday follows on November 29th, which will focus mainly on discounts online.

How to plan your Black Friday

Just like St Stephen's Day in Ireland, the early bird catches the worm when it comes to Black Friday deals in the city.

Recent research from AIB indicates that the busiest time for online shopping on Black Friday is between 10am and 11am with four transactions happening every second during this particular hour.
