Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in “Iris Oifigiúil” of 18 th October, 2024. I, ALAN DILLON, Minister of State at the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 4 , 142 and 143 (as amended by section 53 of the Local Government Reform Act 2014 (No.1 of 2014)) of the Local Government Act 2001 (No. 37 of 2001) and the Housing, Local Government and Heritage (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order 2024 ( S.I. No. 234 of 2024 ), hereby make the following regulations: Citation 1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Building Control (Amendment) (No.2) Regulations 2024. (2) The Principal Regulations and these Regulations may be cited together as the Building Control Regulations 1997 to 2024 and shall be construed together as one. Commencement 2.
