Procedure:In accordance with Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act, 2015 and Section 79 of the Employment Equality Acts, 1998 – 2015 following the referral of the complaint(s)/dispute(s) to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaint(s)/dispute(s) and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaint(s)/dispute(s).
Background:
A first hearing of this case was held on 22nd September 2017. This first hearing was adjourned. A second hearing of this case was held on 4th July 2018. The Complainant did not attend the second hearing, the Respondent did attend the second hearing. No explanation was received from the Complainant to explain his absence from the second hearing.
