I, SEAN KYNE, Minister of State at the Department of Rural and Community Development, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 33 of the Charities Act 2009 (No. 6 of 2009), the Charities (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order 2017 ( S.I. No. 348 of 2017 ) and the Rural and Community Development (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order 2017 ( S.I. No. 432 of 2017 ), hereby order as follows: |
1. This Order may be cited as the Charities Act 2009 (Section 33) Order 2017. |
2. In this Order “Act of 2009” means the Charities Act 2009 (No. 6 of 2009). |
3. (1) Each body or office holder specified in Part 1 of the Schedule is prescribed for the purposes of paragraph (a) of the definition of “relevant regulator” in section 33(6) of the Act of 2009. |
(2) The body specified in Part 2 of the Schedule is prescribed for the purposes of paragraph (b) of the definition of “relevant regulator” in section 33(6) of the Act of 2009. |
