Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

I, HELEN MCENTEE, Minister for Justice and Equality, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Civil Law and Criminal Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2020 (No. 13 of 2020), hereby order as follows:

1 This Order may be cited as the Civil Law and Criminal Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2020 (Commencement) Order 2020.

2. The 21st day of August 2020 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Civil Law and Criminal Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2020 (No. 13 of 2020) shall come into operation:

(a) Part 1, other than subsections (1), (2) and (4) of section 5;

(b) Part 2;

(c) Part 3;

(d) Part 4, other than sections 23, 24 and 25;

(e) Part 5, other than section 32.
