I, CHARLES FLANAGAN, Minister for Justice and Equality, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (3) of the Civil Liability (Amendment) Act 2017 (No. 30 of 2017), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Civil Liability (Amendment) Act 2017 (Parts 1, 2 and 3) (Commencement) Order 2018.

2. The 1st day of October 2018 is appointed as the day on which Parts 1, 2 and 3 of the Civil Liability (Amendment) Act 2017 (No. 30 of 2017) shall come into operation.
