Conor McGregor set to appear in court over six road traffic charges

In a previous appearance in April, the UFC fighter was told he must plead to the charges today and if he denies them, a later date will be set to contest them.

The charges McGregor is accused of relate to alleged offences on March 22 when he was stopped and arrested by gardai.

He was pulled over for alleged dangerous driving on the N4/M50 interchange in Palmerstown and on the Lucan Road.

The father-of-three was driving his 191 Bentley Continental GT, believed to be worth €170,000, at the time.

He was charged with two counts of dangerous driving at Lucan Garda station and given station bail.

McGregor was also hit with a further four charges – driving without a licence and insurance as well as failing to produce them within ten days of the alleged incident.
