Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

I, CHARLES FLANAGAN, Minister for Justice and Equality, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 40 (3) of the Coroners (Amendment) Act 2019 (No. 29 of 2019), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Coroners (Amendment) Act 2019 (Commencement) Order 2020.

2. The 16th day of January 2020 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Coroners (Amendment) Act 2019 (No. 29 of 2019) shall come into operation:

(a) section 21;

(b) sections 23 to 25;

(c) section 36;

(d) section 39(d).
