Appellant's case:

1 The appellant worked for the respondent from 23^rd August 2004 until 21^st February 2013.

2 In the months leading up to the end of her employment the appellant was aware of the financial difficulties the respondent was experiencing and considered buying the business from the respondent. However this came to nothing.
