New licence - Premises destroyed and more extensive premises erected on site - Alteration in character of premises -Licensing (Ir.) Act, 1902, s. 2 (1).

A licence granted for a house or building attaches to the structure, not merely to the site, and will continue to exist and to be renewed only so long as there is no substantial change in the identity of the structure.
