DISTRICT COURT (FEES) ORDER, 1991.

I, RAY BURKE, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 65 of the Courts of Justice Act, 1936 (No. 48 of 1936), and with the consent of the Minister for Finance, hereby order as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the District Court (Fees) Order, 1991. 2. This Order shall come into operation on the 10th day of December, 1991. 3. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order. 4. The District Court (Fees) Order, 1989 ( S.I. No. 343 of 1989 ), is hereby amended by the addition to Part II of the Schedule thereto of the following:

8. On lodging an application with the Small Claims Registrar under the District Court (Small Claims Procedure) Rules, 1991 £5.00 The application (Form SC1) or court fee card. 9. On lodging a Notice of Dispute with a counterclaim with the Small Claims Registrar under the District Court (Small Claims Procedure) Rules, 1991 £5.00 The notice (Form SC4) or court fee card.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

This Order, which comes into operation on 10th December 1991, prescribes the fees to be charged in relation to applications under the District Court (Small Claims Procedure) Rules, 1991.
