1. Alleged non-implementation of a Rights Commissioner's Decision No: r-145516-wt-14JOC

BACKGROUND:

2. The Worker referred his case to the Labour Court on 9 August 2018 in accordance with Section 28(8) of the Organisation of Working Time Act, 1997.

DETERMINATION:

A complaint having been made under Section 28(8) of the organisation of Working Time Act 1997 by Hubert Steslik, 8 Richmond, Wilton, Cork that his former employer, Ecokell T/A Wayrom Limited, Unit 8A, Monahan Road Business Park, Monahan Road, Cork, failed to implement a decision of a Rights Commissioner, r-145516-wt-14JOC;

And the said decision not having been carried out by the employer, and no appeal having been brought against the said decision within the time limit for such appeal;

The Court hereby determines that the said employer pay to the said employee €500.00 in accordance with the decision of the Rights Commissioner.
