I, BRIAN LENIHAN T.D., Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the Ethics in Public Office Act 1995 (No. 22 of 1995) and after consultation with such other Ministers of the Government as I consider appropriate, hereby make the following regulations: |
1. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Ethics in Public Office (Designated Positions in Public Bodies) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2010. |
(2) These Regulations shall come into operation on 1 January 2011. |
2. The Ethics in Public Office (Designated Positions in Public Bodies) Regulations 2004 ( S.I. No. 698 of 2004 ) are amended— |
(a) in Regulation 6 (as amended by Regulation 2 of the Ethics in Public Office (Designated Positions In Public Bodies) (Amendment) Regulation 2008 ( S.I. No. 145 of 2008 )), by inserting after paragraph (t) the following: |
“(u) a person constituting an Appeal Tribunal within the meaning of Part 3 of the Prisons Act 2007 (No. 10 of 2007); |
(v) Registrar of Companies;”, and |
(b) by substituting for the Schedule the following: |
