I, Leo Varadkar, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972), and for the purpose of giving further effect to Directive 2009/125/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 October 20091 , hereby make the following regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Union (Ecodesign Requirements for Certain Energy-related Products) (Amendment) Regulations 2020;

2. The European Union (Ecodesign Requirements for Certain Energy-related Products) (Amendment) Regulations 2013 ( S.I. No 454 of 2013 ) are amended by substituting for the Schedule the following:
