HAIRDRESSING (CORK COUNTY BOROUGH) JOINT LABOUR COMMITTEE (ABOLITION) ORDER, 2009

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 13th February, 2009.

WHEREAS the Hairdressing (Cork County Borough) Joint Labour Committee was established by an Establishment Order dated 5th July, 1977 and made by the Labour Court under Part IV of the Industrial Relations Act, 1946 (hereinafter called “the Act”) and operated in relation to workers and employers specified in the Schedule to that Establishment Order;

AND WHEREAS application has been made to the Labour Court in accordance with Section 40 of the Act by the Minister for Labour Affairs for an Order abolishing the Hairdressing (Cork County Borough) Joint Labour Committee;

AND WHEREAS the requirements of Section 40 of the Act have been complied with in respect of such application;

NOW, THEREFORE, the Labour Court in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 40 of the Act, hereby orders as follows:—

(1) The Hairdressing (Cork County Borough) Joint Labour Committee is hereby abolished.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 10th day of February, 2009.

(3) This Order may be cited as The Hairdressing (Cork County Borough) Joint Labour Committee (Abolition) Order, 2009.
