The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 6 (1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act 1939 (No. 36 of 1939), hereby order as follows:

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Housing, Planning and Local Government (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2020.

(2) This Order comes into operation on 30 September 2020.

2. The name of the Department of State, the present name of which is, in the Irish language, an Roinn Tithíochta, Pleanála agus Rialtais Áitiúil and, in the English language, the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government, is altered, in the...
