M.died leaving three testamentary instruments: a will dated 20th August, 1957, which he made with one firm of solicitors and a further will dated 2nd September, 1960, made with another firm of solicitors who were unaware of the first will. On the 23rd March, 1963, the solicitors who made the first will, in ignorance of the second will, made a codicil to the will of 1957 which was endorsed thereon.
