Irish Standards based on adopted European Standards (ENs) published
between 1961 and 1998 under the Industr ial Research and Standards
Act 1961, the Science and Technology Act 1978 and the National
Standards Authority of Ireland Act 1996 remain current until revised by
European Organizations responsible for them.
These standards (where they have been revised) are hereby revoked and
details of their replacement standards are available on the NSAI website
(www.nsai.ie).

The Physiotherapists Registration Board, in exercise of the powers
conferred on it by section 31 of the Health and Social Care
Professionals Act 2005, with the approval of the Health and Social Care
Professionals Council, hereby makes the following bye-law:
This bye-law sets out the procedures for th e selection of members for
appointment to the Physiotherapists Registration Board for the purposes
of section 28(1)(a) of the Health and Social Care Professionals Act
2005.

CHECKS) REGULATIONS 2025
The Minister for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred on him
by section 3 of the European Communities Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972)
and for the purpose of giving further effect to Directive 2006/22/EC of
the European Parl iament and of the Council of 15 March 2006, as
amended by Commission Delegated Directive (EU) 2024/846 of 14
March 2024, and giving full effect to Article 465 of th e Trade and
Cooperation Agreement between the European Union and the European
Atomic Energy Community, o f the one part, and t he United Kingdom
of Great Britain and No rthern Ireland, of the other part, which entered
into force on 1 May 202 1 approved, on behalf of the European Union,
by Council Decision (EU) 2021/689 of 29 April 2021, has made the
Regulations entitled as above.

COMPETITION AND CONSUMER PROTECTION
COMMISSION FOR CERTAIN FUNCTIONS) REGULATIONS
2025
The Minister for En terprise, Trade and Employment, Peter Burke TD,
in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 3 of the European
Communities Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972) has made regulations entitled
as above.
The purpose of the Regulations is to transfer European Consumer
Centre functions to the Competition and Consumer Protection
Commission (CCPC). These Regulations apply to The European Union
(Alternative Dispute Resolution for Consumer Disputes) Regulations
2015 (S.I. No. 343 of 2015), the European Union (Online Dispute
Resolution for Consumer Dispu tes) Regulations 2015 (S.I. No. 500 of
2015), the European Union (Unjustified Geoblocking of Consumers)
Regulations 2018 (S.I. No. 513 of 2018), and the European Union
(Cooperation Between National Authorities Responsible for the
Enforcement of Consumer Protection Laws) Regulations 2020 (S.I. No.
14 of 2020).

Statutory Instrument designates a national contact point for the
purposes of the Regulation and Agreement.
