CIVIL LAW (MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS) ACT 2022
(SECTION 4(2)) (SCHEME TERMINATION DATE) ORDER
2025
The Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth,
in exercise of the powers conferred on her by subsection (2) of section
4 of the Civil Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2022 (No. 19 of
2022), following consultation with the Minister for Social Protection
and the Minister for Public Expenditure, National Development Plan
Delivery and Reform, has made the Order entitled as above.
The Order amends section 4(1) of the Act of 2022 to extend the “scheme
termination date” for the financial contribution payable in respect of an
eligible dwelling used to accommodate temporary protection
beneficiaries to 31 March 2026.

EUROPEAN UNION (RENEWABLE
ENERGY)(AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 2025
The Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications,
Darragh O’Brien, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section
3 of the European Communities Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972), and for the
purpose of giving further effect to Articles 19 and 30 of Directive (EU)
2018/2001 of the European Parliament and of the Cou ncil of 11
December 2018, has made the Regulations entitled above.
These Regulations amend Regulations 2 , 9, 10, 25, 26, 27 and 28, and
insert Regulation 5A and 25A, into S. I. No. 350 of 2022. These
Regulations also amend Regulation 6 of S.I. No. 33 of 2012. This gives
further effect to Article 19 of Directive (EU) 2018/2001 in so far as it
applies to guarantees of origin for gas and electricity, and Article 30 of
Directive (EU) 2018/2001.
