The Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by

section 1(2) of the Policing, Security and Communit y Safety Act 2024

(No. 1 of 2024), has made the Order as entitled above.

This Order appoints the 2nd day of April 2025 as the day on which the

Policing, Security and Community Safety Act 2024 (No. 1 of 2024)

shall come into operation.

This Order appoints the 2nd day of April 2025 as the day on which the

Authority, a body which shall be known as An tÚdarás Póilíneachta

agus Sábháilteachta Pobail, shall stand established.
