TRANSFERS OF DEFENCE RELATED PRODUCTS)
(AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 2025
The Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Peter Burke, T.D.,
in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 3 of the European
Communities Act 1972 (No 27 of 1972), has made Regulations that
may be cited as the European Communities (Intra-Community
Transfers of Defence Related Products) (Amendment) Regulations
2025.
These Regulations give effect to Commission Delegated Directive (EU)
2025/290 of 4 October 2024, amending Directive 2009/43/EC o f the
European Parliament and of the Council as regards the updating of the
list of defence-related products in line with the updated Common
Military List of the European Union of 19 February 2024.
The Regulations revoke the European Communities (Intra-Community
Transfers of Defence Related Products) (Amendment) Regulations
2024 (S.I. No. 188 of 2024).

The Minister for Children, Disability and Equality, Norma Foley T.D.,
in exercise of the powers conferred on her by section 20A (inserted by
section 2 of the Gender Pay Gap Information Act 2021 (No. 20 of
2021)) of the Employment Equality Act 1998 (No. 21 of 1998) and the
Disability, Equality, Human Rights, Integration and Reception
(Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions)
Order 2020 (S.I. No. 436 of 2020) (as adapted by the Children, Equality,
Disability, Integration and Youth (Alteration of Name of Department
and Title of Minister) Order 2025 (S.I. No. 181 of 2025)) has made
Regulations as entitled above.
The Regulations, appoint the 31st day of May 2025 as the day on which
the Employment Equality Act 199 8 (Section 20A) Gender Pay Gap
Information) Regulations 2022 are amended, to extend the reporting
requirements contained in the Act to organisations with o ver 50
employees. The Regulations may be cited as Employment Equality Act
1998 (Section 20A) (Gend er Pay Gap Information) (Amendment)
Regulations 2025.

EUROPEAN UNION (RESTRICTIVE MEASURES AGAINST
THE PROLIFERATION AND USE OF CHEMICAL
WEAPONS) REGULATIONS 2025
The Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Peter Burke, T.D.,
in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 3 of the European
Communities Act 1972 (No 27 of 1972), has made Regulations that
may be cited as the European Union (Restrictive Measures Against the
Proliferation and Use of Chemical Weapons) Regulations 2025.
These Regulations provide for the enforcement of restrictive measures
contained in Council Regulation (EU) No. 2018/1542, regarding
restrictive measures concerning Chemical Weapons. The Regulations
provide that competent authorities of the State may issue directions for
the purpose of giving full effect to the sanctions. The Regulations create
offences for breach of the Council Regulations or for failure to comply
with the directions of competent authorities of the State with regard to
implementation of the sanctions and provides for appropriate penalties.

of 2012) has made the above titled Order.
This Order prescribes the Health Service Executive and the 3 classes of
persons specified in the schedule to the Order employed o r otherwise
engaged by the Health Service Executive for the purposes of section 4
of the Criminal Justice (Withholding of Information on Offences
against Children and Vulnerable Persons) Act 2012.
This order comes into operation on 30 May 2025.
