IRISH STANDARD REVOCATIONS
Irish Standards based on adopted European Standards (ENs) published
between 1961 and 1998 under the Industr ial Research and Standards
Act 1961, the Science and Technology Act 1978 and the National
Standards Authority of Ireland Act 1996 remain current until revised by
European Organizations responsible for them.
These standards (where they have been revised) are hereby revoked and
details of their replacement standards are available on the NSAI website
(www.nsai.ie).

159(1))(AMENDMENT) RULES 2024
An amendment to the Data Protection Rules for the Superior Courts to
provide that a processor (Courts Service or co urt officer) can disclose
personal data contained in a court record to authorised nominees of the
Sentencing Guidelines and Information Committee of the Judicial
Council subject to statute, rules of court and any applicable court order
or practice direction.

MERCHANT SHIPPING (LIGHT DUES) ORDER 2025.
This Order increases the level of light dues levied on Merchant
Shipping collected from vessels calling to ports within the State from
60 cent to 7 8 cent per ton from 1 July 2025 and increases the tonnage
ceiling from 40,000 net registered tonnage (NRT) to 50,000 NRT. The
maximum number of voyages for which dues may be levied remains at
9 voyages in any one year.

the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 September 2008 as
last amended by Commission Delegated Directive (EU) 2025/149 of 15
November 2 024 (in so far as it relates to the transport of dangerous
goods by rail), has made the Regulations entitled as above.

Section 163(3) of the ICAV Act 2015, that, SDC Capital ICAV (the
“ICAV”) has been struck off the Register of ICAVs.
The ICAV will be deemed to be dissolved on the date of publication of
this notice.

By order of the High Court made on 20th June 2025, following an
application by the Minister for Justice, Home Affairs and M igration, it
was ordered that, pursuant to Section 3A of the Communications
(Retention of Data) Act 2011 (as inserted by Section 4 of the
Communications (Retention of Data) (Amendment) Act 2022), service
providers retain data in all of the categories specified in Schedule 2 o f
the Act of 2011 as provided for in Section 3A(5)(a) and 3A(5)(b), and
that this Order shall remain in force for a period of 12 months from 20th
June 2025 (being for the avoidance of doubt midnight on 20th/21st June
2025).
