SAFETY, HEALTH AND WELFARE AT WORK (QUARRIES)
REGULATIONS 2025
These Regulations introduce amendments to the Safety, Health and
Welfare at Work (Quarries) Regulations 2008. (S.I. No. 28/2008).
These Regulations, developed after consultation with the Health and
Safety Authority, give furth er effect to Council Directive 92/104/EEC
of 3 December 1992 and consolidate previous Regulations and the
associated amendments.
These Regulations may be cited as the Safety, Health and Welfare at
Work (Quarries) Regulations 2025.

REGULATIONS 2025
These Regulations amend the European Union (Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment) Regulations 2014 (S.I. No. 149 of 2014) in order
to give effect to the provisions of Directive (EU) 2024/884 of the
European Parliament and of the Council of 13 March 2024 amending
Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment
(WEEE).

CONCESSIONS) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 2025
The Minister for Finance, in exercise o f the powers conferred on him
by section 92 (amended by section 85 of the Finance (No. 2) Act 2023
(No. 39 of 2023)) of the Finance Act 1989 (No. 10 of 1989) (as adapted
by the Health and Children (Alteration of Name of Department and
Title of Minister) Order 2011 (S.I. No. 219 of 2011) and the Transport,
Tourism and Sport (Alteration of Name of Department and Tit le of
Minister) Order 2020 (S.I. No. 351 of 2020)), after consultation with
the Minister for Health and the Minister for Transport, has made the
regulations entitled as above.
