IRISH STANDARD REVOCATIONS
Irish Standards based on adopted European Standards (ENs) published
between 1961 and 1998 under the In dustrial Research and Standards
Act 1961, the Science and Technology Act 1978 and the National
Standards Authority of Ireland Act 1996 remain current until revised by
European Organizations responsible for them.
These standards (where they have been revised) are hereby revoked and
details of their replacement standards are available on the NSAI website
(www.nsai.ie).

CONCERNING RUSSIA) (NO.5) REGULATIONS 2025
The Minister for Finance, in exercise o f the powers conferred on him
by section 3 of the European Communities Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972)
and for the purpose of giving full effect to Council Regulation (EU)
2024/1485 of 27 May 2024, as amended, has made regulations entitled
as above.

Teaching Council (Registration) Regulations 2025
These Regulations revise and supersede the Teaching Council
(Registration) Regulations 2016 as follows, with changes including
revision of information to b e entered into the Register, Registration
status updated to reflect sanctions, and registration requirements.
Notable changes include incorporation of provision made via
amendment for student teachers to register (Route 5), and for overseas
qualified teachers to complete their period of induction in the State
providing conditional registration, subject to certain qualifying criteria,
in effect up to 31 December 2027.

European Union (Restrictive Measures concerning Guinea-
Bissau) Regulations 2025
The Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment, Peter Burke,
T.D., in exercise of th e powers conferred on him by section 3 of the
European Communities Act 1972 (No 27 of 1972), has made
Regulations that may be cited as the European Union (Restrictive
Measures concerning Guinea-Bissau) Regulations 2025.
These Regulations provide for the enforce ment of restrictive measures
contained in Council Regulation (EU) No. 377/2012, regarding
restrictive measures concerning Guinea-Bissau. The Regulations
provide that competent authorities of the State may issue directions for
the purpose of giving full effect to the sanctions. The Regulations create
offences for breach of the Council Regulations or for failure to comply
with the directions of competent aut horities of the State with regard to
implementation of the sanctions and provides for appropriate penalties.

Measures concerning Burundi) Regulations 2025.

contained in Council Regulation (EU) No. 2015/1755, regarding
restrictive measures concerning Burundi. The Regulations provide that
competent authorities of the State may issue d irections for the purpose
of giving full effect to the sanctions. The Regulations create offences
for breach of the Council Regulations or for failure to comply with the
directions of co mpetent authorities of the S tate with regard to
implementation of the sanctions and provides for appropriate penalties.
