The Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, Mr James

Browne T.D., has made Regulations entitled as above.

The Regulations are made under 127(5)(c) and section 248(5) of the of

the Planning and Development Act 2000, as amended.

The Regulations provide for An Coimisiún Pleanála to consent to

receiving appeals and referrals in electronic form and in a format which

the Commission may specify.

AIRCRAFT NOISE (DUBLIN AIRPORT) REGULATION ACT

2019 LEVY NO. 7 REGULATIONS 2025

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Instrument and does not purport to be a

legal interpretation.)

These Regulations are a requirement of, and prepared in accordance

with, Section 5 of the Aircraft Noise (Dublin Airport) Regulation Act

2019. They impose a levy on Dublin Airport Authority in respect of the

costs incurred by Fingal County Council in its capacity as competent

authority for the purposes of Regulation (EU) No 598/2014. That levy

is to be prescribed having regard to the costs incurred or reasonably

expected to be incurred by the competent au thority in the performance

of its functions under Regulation (EU) No 598/2014, the Aircraft Noise

(Dublin Airpor t) Regulation Act 2019 and the Planning and

Development Act 2000 (as amended).

These Regulations may be cited as the Aircraft Noise ( Dublin Airport)

Regulation Act 2019 Levy No.7 Regulations 2025.
