IRISH STANDARD REVOCATIONS
Irish Standards based on adopted European Standards (ENs)
published between 1961 and 1998 under the Industrial Research and
Standards Act 1961, the Science and Technology Act 1978 and the
National Standards Authority of Ireland Act 1996 remain current until
revised by European Organizations responsible for them.
These standards (where they have been revised) are hereby revoked
and details of their replacement standards are available on the NSAI
website (www.nsai.ie).

INTERNATIONAL PROTECTION ACT 2015
(PROCEDURES AND PERIODS FOR APPEALS)
(AMENDMENT) 2026
Minister for Justice, Home Affairs and Migration has made the
Regulations above under sections 3 and 41(4) of the In ternational
Protection Act (No. 66 of 2015) (as adapted b y the Justice
(Alternation of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order
2025 (S.I. No. 242 of 2015).
These Regulations amend the International Protection Act 2015
(Procedures and Periods for Appeals) Regulations 2017 (No. 1 16 of
2017). The Regulations introduce an option for consent to be given in
respect of electronic service in the process for appeals and provides
further clarity on applications for extensions of time and permissions
to make late appeals.

2026
Minister for Justice, Home Affairs and Migration has made the
Regulations above under section 3 of the European Communities Act
1972 (No. 27 of 1972), and for the purpose of giving further effect to
Regulation (EU) No 604/2013.
These Regulations amend the European Union (Dublin System)
Regulations 2018 (No. 62 of 2018). The Regulations introduce an
option for consent to be given in respect of electronic service in the
process for appeals and provides further clarity on applications for
extensions of time and permissions to make late appeals.

The Minister for Children, Disability and Equality, in exercise of the
powers conferred on her by subsection (3) of section 35L (inserted by
section 7 of the Child Care (Amendment) Act 2022 (No. 21 of 2022))
of the Child Care Act 1991 (as adapted by the Children, Equality,
Disability, Integration and Youth (Alternation of Name of
Department and Title of Minister) Order 2025 (S.I. No. 180 of 2025)),
and having had regard to the matters specified in subsection (4) of
that section, has made the Regulations entitled as above.

measuring and evaluation o f performance, the complaints procedure
and the procedures related to the cessation of appointment of
representative persons, provisional representatives and representative
organisations under Chapter 2 of Part 3 of that Act.
