The Minister for Transport, Mr. Darragh O’Brien, T.D., in exercise

of the powers conferr ed on him by section 3 of the European

Communities Act 1972 (No.27 of 1972), has made Regulations that

may be cited as the European Union (Transport) (Renewable Energy)

Regulations 2026.

The Regulations make technical a mendments to renewable transport

fuel provisions in the NORA Act 2007 and related statutory

instruments to transpose EU Renewable Energy Directive

sustainability certification and greenhouse gas emissions sa ving

criteria.
