emission rate testing facilities.

CHILDCARE SUPPORT ACT 2018 (CALCULATION OF

AMOUNT OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT) (AMENDMENT)

REGULATIONS 2026

The Minister for Children, Equality and Disability, in exercise of the

powers conferred on her by section 13 of the Childcare Support Act

2018 has made the above Regulations on the 10th August 2026. These

Regulations amend the Regulations previously made under section 13

of the Childcare Support Act 2018 (S.I. 378/2019) to increase the base

threshold to €34,000 and the income assessed threshold to €68,000.

EUROPEAN UNION HABITATS (ST. JOHN'S POINT

SPECIAL AREA OF CONSERVATION 000191)

REGULATIONS 2026

The purpose of these Regulations is to give further effect to Council

Directive No. 92/43/EEC (as amended).

The Habitats Directive requires Member States to protect habitats and

wildlife areas of European interest by, among other things,

designating sites as Special Areas of Conservation in order to create

a coherent European ecological network. The effect of these

Regulations is to complete the formal designation of the area set out

in the Regulations as a Special Area of Conservation in accordance

with Article 4 of the Directive.

Those activities that require consent are cited for their potential to

impact upon the Special Area of Conservation. Landowners or

occupiers should contact the local National Parks and Wildlife

Service office of the Department of Housing, Local Government and

Heritage before undertaking any of the works listed. (See

The Regulations also provide that con travention of the provisions of

these Regulations shall constitute an offence.
