Kilmacud Crokes All-Ireland victory in doubt as Glen seek 'clarification'

Throughout the game, both teams had the lead in parts, and as the final few minutes approached, the match still hung in the balance. Kilmacud were under a lot of pressure from Glen in the closing stages, as their victory was made possible by a stunning Conor Ferris save at the very end

However, it has seemingly come to light that the champions appeared to have an additional player on the field for the final moments of the game. And GAA pundit Joe Brolly has called for a replay of the game due to the breach of one of the game's most "fundamental" rules - each team having 15 players on the pitch.

Not long after the final whistle, images surfaced on social media which showed Kilmacud had an extra player on the pitch. A player that was supposed to come off as a Kilmacud substitute came on did not leave the pitch, it has been reported.
