Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 13th November, 2015.

I, FRANCES FITZGERALD, Minister for Justice and Equality, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Marriage Act 2015 (No. 35 of 2015), and after consulting with the Minister for Social Protection, hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Marriage Act 2015 (Commencement) Order 2015.

2. The 16th day of November 2015 is appointed as the day on which the Marriage Act 2015 (No. 35 of 2015) comes into operation.
