Conflicting answers - General question.

On the trial of an action for negligence a jury is entitled to give a general answer on the question as to negligence, but if the answer to the general question is inconsistent with one or more of the answers to the special questions left to the jury by the judge, judgment will be given in accordance with the answers to the special questions.
