Appeal on ground of severity - Manslaughter - Negligent driving of motor car - Driver drunk - Plea of guilty - Three years penal servitude and life disqualification.

The Court refused to interfere with a sentence, the appeal being based on a submission that in cases of first offences of manslaughter by negligence there is a more or less recognised maximum sentence of twelve months imprisonment in the second division. There is no standard sentence in such cases.
