Regan v Allfresh Products Ltd

Claimant dove the respondent's bread van for deliveries but had complained to the respondent of the van road unworthiness. The van had broken down several times and the claimant felt it was too risky to drive it. The respondent told the claimant to fix it. On the day he left the van broke down again and the claimant told the respondent that he needed a new van. The respondent replied “if your not going to do it then go” or words to that effect. On his way home he met the respondent who was verbally abusive to him. The respondent company was in receivership and the claimant's evidence went uncontested. The Tribunal determined the claimant was dismissed and it was unfair...
