Controlled dwelling - Application by landlord for determination of basic rent - Application made by personal representative of deceased landlord - Rent Restrictions Act, 1960 (No. 42), s. 8, sub-s. 1A.

The applicants applied, as landlords, for a determination by the District Court of the basic rent of a controlled dwelling under s. 8. sub-s. 1A, of the Rent Restrictions Act, 1960. In order to succeed, the applicants had to establish, pursuant to para. (e) of the sub-section, that the premises were a controlled dwelling in respect of which "the landlord at the time of the application . . . was the landlord on the 8th day of June, 1966, and has been the landlord continuously from that day."
