Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 28th November, 2014.

I, PASCHAL DONOHOE, Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Road Traffic Act 2010 (No. 25 of 2010) (as adapted by the Transport (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2011 ( S.I. No. 141 of 2011 )) and section 1 (2) of the Road Traffic Act 2014 (No. 3 of 2014), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic Act 2010 (Impairment Testing) (Commencement) Order 2014.

2. The day fixed as the day on which—

(a) section 11 of the Road Traffic Act 2014 (No. 3 of 2014),

(b) section 11 of the Road Traffic Act 2010 (No. 25 of 2010), and

(c) section 13 (b)(i) of the Road Traffic Act 2014 ,

come into operation is 26 November 2014.

This Order brings into operation section 11 of the Road Traffic Act 2010 (No. 25 of 2010) and section 11 and 13 (b)(i) of the Road Traffic Act 2014 (No. 3 of 2014) with effect from 26 November 2014.
