Thieves smash Dublin jewellery shop window in early morning burglary

Thieves smashed in the front window of Rhinestones Jewellery & Gifts on Andrew Street at 5am this morning. Several items were stolen from the city centre store during the course of the burglary

A garda spokesman said: "Gardai received a report of an incident of burglary that occurred to a retail premises on St Andrew's Street, Dublin 2 at approximately 5am this morning, Tuesday, April 9, 2024. A number of items were removed from the premises in the course of this incident.

"No arrests have been made. Investigations are ongoing at this time."
