JUDGMENT OF THE VALUATION TRIBUNAL
ISSUED ON THE 11TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1988
By Notice of Appeal dated the 16th August, 1988, the appellant appealed against the decision of
the respondent fixing the valuation of the above described hereditament at £17.00.
The valuaiton history of the premises about which there is no dispute is:-
The property was first valued in the 1850's as "house and yard" at £5.50 R.V. This valuation was
increased to £6.00 on 1939 Revision and the description amended to "Ho.shop, offs. and yard (in
common)".
In 1954 the property was listed by the Local Authority to take account of "new shop window",
and the valuation was revised to £8.50 and the description to "Ho. (dilapidated) offs. and yard".
