Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

I, SIMON COVENEY, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 7 of the Animal Health and Welfare Act 2013 (No. 15 of 2013), hereby make the following order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Animal Health and Welfare Act 2013 (Application to Tuberculosis in Non-Ruminant Animals) Order 2014 and come into operation on 6 March 2014.

2. The provisions of the Animal Health and Welfare Act 2013 apply to tuberculosis in animals other than ruminants.

The effect of this Order is to make tuberculosis in non-ruminant animals a disease to which the Animal Health and Welfare Act 2013 applies; the Act already applies to tuberculosis in ruminants.
