I, MICHAEL CREED, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 7 of the Animal Health and Welfare Act 2013 (No. 15 of 2013), hereby make the following order:

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Animal Health and Welfare (Application of Act to disease) Order 2018.

Stated Diseases

2. All provisions of the Animal Health and Welfare Act 2013 (No. 15 of 2013) shall apply to the following diseases to the extent they would if they were included in Schedule 2 of that Act-

(a) Bovine genital campylobacteriosis,

(b) Heartwater, and

(c) Leishmaniasis.

This Order applies the Animal Health and Welfare Act to the additional 3 diseases mentioned in the Order.
