Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 26th August, 2011.

I, PHIL HOGAN, Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (5) of the Environment (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2011 (No. 20 of 2011), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Environment (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2011 (Commencement of Certain Provisions) Order 2011.

2. The 23rd day of August 2011 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Environment (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2011 (No. 20 of 2011) come into operation:

(a) sections 1 to 14;

(b) sections 20 and 21; and

(c) sections 43 to 47.

This Order provides for the commencement of sections 1 to 14 , 20 and 21 , and 43 to 47 of the Environment (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2011 , with effect from 23rd August 2011.
