FIREARMS AND OFFENSIVE WEAPONS ACT, 1990 (PART II) (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1990.

I, RAY BURKE, Minister for Justice in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (3) of the Firearms and Offensive Weapons Act, 1990 (No. 12 of 1990), hereby order as follows: 1. This Order may be cited as the Firearms and Offensive Weapons Act, 1990 (Part III) (Commencement) Order, 1990. 2. The 1st day of January, 1991 is hereby fixed as the day on which Part II of the Firearms and Offensive Weapons Act, 1990 shall come into operation.
