GAELTACHT AREAS ORDER, 1956.

The Government, in exercise of the power conferred on them by section 2 of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1956 (No. 21 of 1956), hereby order as follows :— 1. This Order may be cited as the Gaeltacht Areas Order, 1956. 2. The district electoral divisions and parts of district electoral divisions specified in the Schedule to this Order are hereby determined to be Gaeltacht areas for the purposes of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1956 (No. 21 of 1956).

SCHEDULE.

COUNTY OF KERRY.

1. The District Electoral Divisions of Ballinskelligs, Kilquaine, Kilmalkedar, Kinard, Dingle, Derriana, Dunquin, Dunurlin, Ventry, St. Finans, Glin, Mastergeehy, Marhin and Minard.

2.—(1) That part of the District Electoral Division of Ballybrack comprised in the Townlands of Caunteens, Gortnamackanee, Graigues, Inchfarrannagleragh Glebe, Eightercua, Shanaknock, Tooreens and Tooreenyduneen.

(2) That part of the District Electoral Division of Bahaghs comprised in the Townland of Islandboy.

(3) That part of the District Electoral Division of Caherdaniel comprised in the Townlands of Coomnahorna West, Coomnahorna East, Glanbeg, Gortnakilly and Rath.

(4) That part of the District Electoral Division of Canuig comprised in the Townlands of Bunaderreen, Kealafreaghane West, Kealafreaghane East, Canuig, Kilmackerrin West, Kilmackerrin East, Coshcummeragh, Coomastow, Dromaragh, Foildrenagh, Inchiboy and Maulin.

(5) That part of the District Electoral Division of Darrynane comprised in the Townlands of Balleen, Cahernageeha, Coomatloukane, Darrynane Beg, Darrynane More, Farraniaragh, Loher, Reenearagh, Rineen and Toor.

(6) That part of the District Electoral Division of Emlagh comprised in the Townlands of Kineigh, Cloon, Farranahow, Garryglass, Emlaghdreenagh, Emlaghlea, Emlaghmore West, Enilaghmore East, Emlaghnamuck, Mweelin, Maulnahone, Muingydowda, Murreagh, Reenroe and Tullig.

(7) That part of the District Electoral Division of Loughcurrane comprised in the Townlands of Caherbarnagh, Cloghvoola, Commanes and Glanbeg.

(8) That part of the District Electoral Division of Teeranearagh comprised in the Townlands of Fermoyle and Sussa.

COUNTY OF CORK.

1. The District Electoral Divisions of Derryfineen, Gurtnatubbrid, Slievereagh and Ullanes.

2.—(1) That part of the District Electoral Division of Bealanageary (Dunmanway) comprised in the Townlands of Bargarriff, Kealvaugh Beg, Kealvaugh More, Carrignamuck, Cloghboola, Cornery, Derryvacorneen, Derryriordane North, Derreennacusha, Derreendonee, Garrynapeaka, Inchi Beg, Inchinossig, Inchideraille, Inchi More, Illauninagh West, Illauninagh East and Tooreenduff.

(2) That part of the District Electoral Division of Bealanageary (Macroom) comprised in the Townlands of Carrig, Carrigbaun, Carrignadoura, Cappanaminna, Keamcorravooly, Kilmore, Coomdorragha, Currahy, Derreenabourky, Derreenclodig, Derreenlunnig, Dromanallig, Gorteennakilla, Gurteenowen, Gurteenflugh, Gortnaloughra, Gortafludig, Lyrenageeha, Lackabaun, Maulmore, Rossalougha, Scrahanmore and Tooreenlahard.

(3) That part of the District Electoral Division of Candroma comprised in the Townlands of Cools and Derreennacarton.

(4) That part of the District Electoral Division of Kilnamartery comprised in the Townlands of Ballyvoge, Caherkereen, Kylefinchin, Inchinahoury and Prohus.

(5) That part of the District Electoral Division of Cleanrath comprised in the Townlands of Cahernacaha, Cleanrath South, Cleanrath North, Coomlibane, Derrineanig, Derryvaleen, Augeris, Gortnamona, Milmorane and Rathgaskig.

(6) That part of the District Electoral Division of Cape Clear comprised in the Townlands of Ardgort, Ballyieragh South, Ballyieragh North, Comillane, Carhoona, Knockannamaurnagh, Knockanacohig, Killickaforevane, Keenleen, Croha West, Croha East, Glen Middle, Glen West, Glen East, Gortnalour and Lissamona.

COUNTY OF DONEGAL.
